Postdoctoral and Clinical Multiple Sclerosis Fellowships
One position for each clinical and a postdoctoral fellowships are awarded at the Maxine Mesinger MS Center for the academic year starting every July 1st and ending June 30th the following year.
The clinical fellowship is awarded to a fully trained board-eligible individual following the completion of a GME approved residency. The clinical fellowship activity is certified by the Texas Medical Board.
The postdoctoral fellowship is designed to assist in clinical research and in the studies being performed at the center. The postdoctoral fellowship does not involve patient care responsibilities. These candidates must have a MD degree and documented experience in clinical activities or research. International graduates are also considered for this position.
Collaboration in clinical studies including multicenter trials, extensive exposure to hospital and outpatient clinical activities, participation in educational activities with residents, medical students and international observers as well as delivery of conferences and opportunity to publish and present works at national and international meetings are part of the opportunities for the MS Fellow. The positions are designed for individuals interested in specializing in MS within a strong academic setting and patient care emphasis.
